UNICOMER, the parent company of Courts, is investing the equivalent of almost TT $1 billion in Guyana.
The company is constructing a commercial complex at the East Bank in Demerara, and a logistics park in Houston, both earmarked to be completed by the third quarter of 2025.
The commercial complex is to house 30 retail spaces, with parking accommodation for 400 vehicles.
There would be a Courts Mega Store and Ashley Home Store.
The logistics park would streamline Courts’ supply chain management process, with facilities for other firms operating in Guyana.
The Unicomer Group, which is based in El Salvador, operates in 26 countries.
The group’s bands include Courts, Courts Optical, Ashley Furniture Home Store, Radio Shack, Lucky Dollar, and Servitech.
