PNM PROPAGANDIST MOCKS MURDER VICTIM

RHODA Bharath, a PNM propagandist who was exposed as being paid $20,000 a month by a State enterprise, has sought to undermine a recent murder victim.

The matter pertains to Ramnarace Nandoo, a 52-year-old businessman man who was shot to death as he closed his Chaguanas operations at 8:47 p.m. one evening.

Bharath commented: “8:47 p.m. and your food establishment still open?”
She was referring to the 9 p.m. curfew.

She was roundly criticised by several people on social media for gross insensitivity to a law-abiding person who became a murder victim.

In June 2020, the Government confirmed in Parliament that Bharath is being paid $20,000 a month by National Lotteries Control Board (NLCB).

Opposition Senator Wade Mark claimed that Bharath was hired “to do damage control” and without any public advertisements.

There has been a spate of killings in Central Trinidad in recent days.

One of Nandoo’s children asked: “Can anyone tell me why innocent people like my dad are being murdered?”
