NOW DEYALSINGH A SWOLLEN TESTICLES STAR TO THE WORLD

THE sensational Nicki Minaj claim of Covid-19 vaccine causing the swelling of a cousin’s friend testicles has turned Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh into a global man-of-the-moment.

From CNN to BBC to news channels, newspapers and online publications are quoting Deyalsingh on the outlandish matter.

CNN even referred to Deyalsingh as a medical doctor.

Trevor Noah, host of the highly-popular Daily Show, had the Minister as a guest on Wednesday night.

Deyalsingh said there was no evidence of such a side-effect of any vaccine recipient in T&T.

He stated that in a country of 1.4 million people, one million vaccines have been administered.

He also urged Noah to visit the country to enjoy Carnival, the cuisine, sports, culture, and other attractions.

Responding to a question from Noah about whether people in T&T must be vaccinated in order to go to work, Deyalsingh said the vaccination process is voluntary.

For his part, Noah noted that the Minaj statements have additional relevance in Trinidad and Tobago, but that the country must not be defined by the issue.

He said that the country has a lot going for it, and expressed interest in visiting to enjoy Carnival and doubles.

Noah also featured Jason Williams, host of CNC3 morning show, who had weighed in on the matter.

The late-night comedian was tickled about Williams’ depiction of impotence as “a flat tire.”

To add to the levity, he had Williams re-voice a television commercial for Cialis, a tablet for the treatment of impotence.

Deyalsingh’s response to Minaj has also seen him featured in scores of international news clips, and abruptly thrust T&T into the world spotlight.

Popular television humorists, including Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert, have been reeling out punch-lines.

And Deyalsingh is having a swell time!
