NEW SONG BY ANIL BHEEM – SIX MONTHS AFTER HIS DEATH

SIX months after his shock death, Anil Bheem has a new song with an accompanying video.

“Come Back My Lover” is the name of the chutney song, released by Bheem’s widow Cheryl Bheem and arranger Zaheer “Big Rich” Khan.

The song is among a number of previously-unreleased items by the prolific artiste.

In typical chutney style, the song tells of a forlorn man turning to alcohol with the departure of his lover.

Cheryl Bheem and Khan said several other recordings by the singer would be released over time.

Anil Bheem recorded the song at the time he also performed ‘Suhani Raat Dhal Chuuki,” a timeless Hindi number from the 1949 Bollywood movie “Dularie.”

Bheem dubbed the song “The Indian National Anthem.”

The melancholic song soared to national popularity upon Bheem’s death in February.

Lyrics include: “The pleasant night has slipped away/The weather has changed/When would you come?”

Bheem died at age 48 after complaining of chest pains.

Self-dubbed as “The Vocalist,” he led a musical band and was a drive-time radio disc jockey.

Cheryl Bheem and Khan spoke about the new song in an emotion-filled interview on Radio 103.1 FM, where the artiste previously worked.

Khan said the song includes soca remixes.
