DELTA CASE IN ST.KITTS NEVIS

ARE you heading to St. Kitts-Nevis (SKN) for the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) cricket competition?

Then, beware of the highly contagious and deadly Delta variant of Covid-19 virus.

Little SKN (population 55,000) has discovered one case of the Delta variant in samples sent for genomic sequencing.

But the twin-island republic has administered 45,097 doses of vaccination, giving it one of the highest rates, per capita, in Caricom.

There have been 929 infections and three deaths in SKN since the start of the pandemic.
